It seems there has been some data revision in the NIFC daily sitrep of today, July 22; the total acres burnt YTD are reported as 2,879,645, down from 2,892,545 yesterday, July 21, i.e. a reduction of 12,900 acres. This brings the total for July 1-22 to 1,090,063, i.e. 85% of the threshold in 71% of the time.
I'll confess that the combination of the number itself and the revision make me kind of uncomfortable for remaining at 100%, so I am decreasing a bit (I expected that we would be in a clear path for clearing the threshold in the next couple of days, to be honest)...
Why do you think you're right?
