As of Nov. 12m 2025 according to a Reuters article , more violence escalated and at least one person is dead. Also the ceasefire agreed to in October 2025, has been suspended by Thailand. While Cambodia wants to adhere to the ceasefire, it is unclear that those committing acts of violence will adhere to it give it is related civilians in a border village.
