Why do you think you're right?
There are currently few (maybe only the Leica M11-P) bodies that are C2PA-capable. NYTimes, CBC, or BBC would not mandate shooting only on the Leica M11-P. Sony is/was in testing with currently-available bodies, but nothing available as of Feb. 2024. Timeline to make the change by 31 May 2024 would be very optimistic, especially with no known public testing of Canon and Nikon bodies.

Why might you be wrong?

Sony could create a firmware update for widely-owned bodies and one or more of these orgs may have a desk that use these bodies exclusively. At that point, it could be simple to use signed, SOOC files.
