I am a quantitative options trader living in Chicago. I have 2 years of experience in this field, but am well-versed in the financial markets generally. I am very interested in trying to develop my own forecasting abilities as I believe to have a strong intuition/feel for probability distributions from my education and experience trading options. I am particularly fascinated by the shrinking (but everpresent) performance gap between artificial intelligence agents/models and humans in the domain of forecasting.
