On June 3, the European Union announced a new set of sanctions on Russia targeting Russian oil producers and banks (Reuters). In the initial version of the press release issued by the EU Council, a ban on the provision of “cloud services” to Russia was included among the sanctions, but this ban was later deleted (Reuters, VOI).
