This question will be resolved using the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data (ACLED) project’s dashboard. To count the number of protests and riots in Colombia for a given time period:  

  • Adjust the “Event Date” filter to the relevant dates.  
  • Select “Protests” and “Riots” from the event type filter. 
  • Select “Colombia” from the Region filter.  
  • Click “Apply Filters”  
The total number of protests and riots for the relevant time frame will be reported at the top of the page after “Events:”
