This question will be resolved using the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data (ACLED) project’s dashboard. To count the number of battles and incidents of violence against civilians in Venezuela for a given time period:  

  • Adjust the “Event Date” filter to the relevant dates.  
  • Select “Battles” and “Violence against civilians” from the event type filter. 
  • Select “Venezuela” from the Region filter.  
  • Click “Apply Filters”  
The total number of battles and incidents of violence against civilians for the relevant time frame will be reported at the top of the page after “Events:”
