SpaceX set consecutive annual launch records from 2020 through 2025, culminating in 165 Falcon 9 launches in 2025—nearly twice as many as China and representing approximately 85% of all U.S. orbital launches that year (Space.com). The company's 2025 flight rate averaged approximately 13–14 launches per month, with 123 of those missions dedicated to deploying Starlink internet satellites (SpaceNews). As of mid-January 2026, SpaceX had already conducted 8 Falcon 9 launches in the new year (Wikipedia).

SpaceX has not publicly released launch projections for 2026, but analysts expect the company may shift some Starlink deployment to its Starship vehicle once it becomes operational for orbital missions. No Falcon Heavy rockets flew in 2025, though several missions remain on the manifest. SpaceX typically maintains high launch cadence from its three primary pads at Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and Vandenberg Space Force Base. Technical issues, weather, and regulatory factors can affect monthly totals, though SpaceX has demonstrated resilience in maintaining high flight rates.

Resolution Criteria:

This question will be resolved using Spaceflight Now's Launch Log. The question will be resolved as "Yes" for the bucket containing the total count of SpaceX orbital launch attempts between 1 February 2026 and 31 July 2026 (UTC).

The count will include all SpaceX orbital launch attempts (Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, and Starship orbital missions) conducted between 1 February 2026 and 31 July 2026, inclusive, regardless of mission outcome. Suborbital Starship test flights that do not attempt to reach orbit will not be counted.

If Spaceflight Now is unavailable or incomplete at resolution time Jonathan McDowell's General Catalog of Artificial Space Objects or official SpaceX press releases and social media announcements may be used as secondary sources.
