I am a physician policy researcher focused on health equity. Diagnosis and treatment of diseases, prognosis of disease, and disease prevention all require critical thinking and forecasting (although not often communicated in probabilities). Additionally, health policy requires forecasting now more than ever for the development of health policies and programs resilient to political changes. As a result, my goal is to learn how to change my thinking to enhance my ability to forecast both as a physician and health policy researcher.
