I'm an adjunct analyst at RAND working in the Defense and Political Science Department for RFI, where I am part of a team helping to improve forecasting within RAND and to help bring the expertise of their employees to the forecasting platform. I've lived 18 years in Romania with background in Ukraine, Poland, the Middle East, the EU, epidemiology, AI development, and nuclear risk. I've been forecasting since 2013 (Superforecaster) and involved in several IARPA forecasting projects, as well as work for Good Judgment, Metaculus and Swift Centre. My original training and work was in documentary and fine art photography. I split my time between Oregon and Romania.
